Visa Processing Guidelines

With the exception of visitors from India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all other visitors to Bhutan need a visa.

Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals can obtain a visa at the port of entry on producing a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity. Indian nationals may also use their Voters Identity Card (VIC).

All other tourists must obtain a visa clearance prior to travel to Bhutan. Bhutan Life Exposure submit your color passport copy and obtain visa prior to your departure. Your Visa is checked on arrival.

In order to process the visa we require the following documents and information;

  1. Clearly scanned Passport copy of all the traveler with a minimum of 6 months validity
  2. Exact date of entry and exit (This gives number of days and nights)
  3. Port of city to board a flight to Bhutan and back from Bhutan (Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kathmandu, Singapore,  Bangkok)
  4. Student below 25 years is given discount upon producing the English version CID from their college.

 

The approved visa is issued/forwarded to respective tourist prior to departure. At your point of entry you must show your visa copy, to stamp onto passport.
