Visa Processing Guidelines

With the exception of visitors from India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all other visitors to Bhutan need to process visa.

Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals can obtain a visa at the port of entry on producing a valid passport with a minimum of 6 month validity. Indian nationals may also use their Voters Identity Card (VIC).

All other tourists must obtain a visa clearance prior to travel to Bhutan. Bhutan Life Exposure can have your Visa processed for you prior to your  travel date. Your Visa is endorsed and gets approved upon receiving the full payment by our bank.

In order to process the visa we require the following documents and information;

  1. Clearly scanned color PASSPORT copy of all the traveler with a minimum of 6 months validity during the date of travel
  2. Exact date of entry and exit.
  3. Port of city to board a flight to Bhutan and back from Bhutan (Kathmandu, Bangkok, Delhi, Singapore, Mumbai)
  4. Require English version CID for student below 25 years from the college

 Your approved visa is issued to you prior to arrival in Bhutan. The individual is required to produce this at the check-in counter of the Airlines. The actual visa would be stamped at the port of entry upon completing the Immigration formalities.
